What is the Autism Society of Illinois?
ASI is a not-for-profit 501(C)(3) organization created more than 31 years ago for individuals with Autism, parents, families, professionals, corporate partners and friends whose lives have been touched by autism.
ASI, a state-wide chapter of the Autism Society of America (ASA), works to impact the lives of people with Autism. Its objectives are to provide educational and practical support for parents, increase public awareness of autism, offer a referral network of professionals and promote legislation that directly impacts individuals with Autism and their families.
ASI is led by the combined leadership of a parent and non-parent volunteer Board of Directors, Executive Director, and Professional Advisory Committee, comprised of respected (volunteer) professionals in the field of Autism. |
